For beauty and perfection you can't top the professionals or soon-to-be professionals. For me the most memorable figure skating experience was passing the couples skate in a college skating class. Holding a young lady and performing the basic ice dance routine was exhilarating. Watching a skating performance pales in comparison to skating yourself.
