- If she's healthy and able, why shouldn't she compete?
Others say that even if she's unable to hold her own at the next Olympics she'll be unfairly granted a spot on the world team -- a spot that should go to a more deserving but less famous skater.
I think if she remains technically competitive and stays injury-free, she should be given a chance at the next Olympic Winter Games just like any other skater. My thought, though, is why would she want to put herself through four more years of hard-core training when her body's giving out on her now?
