Lake Placid is the place for ice dancers and enthusiasts to be.


Include some friendly ice dancing competition in your New England leaf peeping trip to New York State this year. Get your entry forms in by August 25, 2006 for this USFSA and Skate Canada sanctioned 2006 Lake Placid Pro Am Dance Classic held at the Olympic Center on September 30th. Entry forms can be found on lakeplacidskating.com. Dancers of all ages are welcomed to compete.

This competition takes place less than two months following the famed 2006 Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships. August 1-5 are the dates for the 2006 competition, with the initial rounds beginning August 2nd. This event attracts hundreds of contestants and spectators each year and includes open and solo dances as well as levels from the eligible ranks and shadow dancing.
