Carolina Kostner of Italy earned the top billing for the ladies with an accumulated point total of 2581. Adding to her silver medal from Worlds, she takes home an extra $45,000 for her efforts this year.
Mao Asada of Japan won the world championship but came in second in the overall standings with 2320 points from competitions this season. Her bonus of $27,000 was nothing to cry about.
Yu-Na Kim of Korea won the bronze at Worlds and $18,000 in bonus money for her overall third place ISU standing, after racking up 2172 points.
The top ten ladies continue in order with Yukari Nakano, Caroline Zhang, Laura Lepisto, Kimmie Meissner, Rachael Flatt, Julia Sebestyen, and Joannie Rochette.
Daisuke Takahashi of Japan claimed top billing again this year – only by one point! His total of 1995 points earned him $45,000.
Kevin van der Perren of Belgium was one point shy of an $18,000 raise. Still, his point total of 1994 points gave him a $27,000 bonus this year.
Johnny Weir of the USA earned a total of 1955 points and the third place overall ranking – a title that comes with $18,000.
Stephane Lambiel, Tomas Verner, Jeffrey Buttle, Evan Lysacek, Adam Rippon, Brian Joubert, and Patrick Chan round out the top ten men skaters in order.
Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy of Germany won at Worlds, brining his point total up to 2650 for the top spot in the International Figure Skating world rankings. They share the $67,500 bonus money.
Dan and Hao Zhang of China won second at Worlds and in the overall standings, with 2200 points. This team splits a $40,500 bonus check.
Jessica Dubè and Bryce Davison of Canada were third at Worlds and third in the overall standings. Their 1955 point total gave them $27,000 to share.
Quing Pang and Jian Tong (China) landed in fourth overall with 1888 points. Yuko Kawaguchi and Alexander Smirnov (Russia) earned 1724 points for fifth place overall world ranking for pairs figure skating.
Isabelle Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder of France earned 2498 points with the win at Worlds. They split $67,500 in bonus money.
Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada, World Silver Medalists, placed second in the overall standings. They earned 2063 points and $40,500.
Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin of Russia earned enough points this season, with their win at the European Championships, to place third in this year’s overall standings. They will split $27,000 with their 2040 points.
Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto (USA) earned 1995 points for the fourth place overall rank. Jana Khokhlova and Sergei Novitski (Russia) took the fifth spot for their 1857 point total.
